Inara’s background in dance is an eclectic one that has lead to a deep love of learning and teaching movement. Her childhood was spent taking instruction in many art forms including dance, music, and sewing which has led to her current professions.
Inara's newest passion is ballroom but she is better known to the New England area as one of the leading belly dance instructors in Rhode Island mentored by the legendary Kanina.
In addition to her local and regional studies, she traveled to Egypt in 2019 via Sahra Saeeda's "Journey through Egypt" course - an amazing immersion opportunity to learn first-hand the culture, history and dancer lifestyle as taught by the top dancers in Egypt.
Inara’s dance classes are fun, energetic, and highly addictive. Outside of dance, Inara is also a professional pianist, vocalist, and costume designer/seamstress.
Ryan Burniston has been ballroom dancing for 12 years and has been teaching for 7! He discovered his love for dance through theater. He has performed at locations like Trinity Rep and the Stadium Theater both of which are in Rhode Island. Ryan even has choreographed dance numbers for theaters including the Cape Repertory Theater in Brewster, MA. Ryan loves to perform on the stage and it shows in his dancing. He has also donated his time to being a judge for Roger Williams University’s Dancing with the Professors! He enjoys teaching all styles of dance from smooth to rhythm and even to country! He looks forward to meeting you all at the Studio!
Gianna Scalisi-Burniston has been ballroom dancing since she was 10 years old and has been competing since she was 12. She graduated from Roger Williams University with a B.S. in Marine Biology, a minor in Environmental Science, and a core concentration in Educational Studies. During her time at Roger Williams she was the President of the Ballroom Dance team, created a costume closet for competitors and started a yearly showcase at the school. She has choreographed and organized many numbers for the college throughout her undergraduate career. Gianna even has gotten her LaBlast Certification. LaBlast is an exercise using all the styles of dance (smooth and rhythm) as seen on “Dancing with the Stars” and the best part is you do not need a partner to do it! Just recently she competed at the New England Open and placed first in the mixed Intermediate Professional Division for the second year in a row. Gianna has been at Endicott Dance for over a year now and she looks forward to teaching about her passion for dance and love for competition with style!
