Inara’s background in dance is an eclectic one that has lead to a deep love of learning and teaching movement. Her childhood was spent taking instruction in many art forms including dance, music, and sewing which has led to her current professions.
Inara's newest passion is ballroom but she is better known to the New England area as one of the leading belly dance instructors in Rhode Island mentored by the legendary Kanina.
In addition to her local and regional studies, she traveled to Egypt in 2019 via Sahra Saeeda's "Journey through Egypt" course - an amazing immersion opportunity to learn first-hand the culture, history and dancer lifestyle as taught by the top dancers in Egypt.
Inara’s dance classes are fun, energetic, and highly addictive. Outside of dance, Inara is also a professional pianist, vocalist, and costume designer/seamstress.
Manager/ Dance Instructor
Kendra King started dancing all styles of smooth and rhythm in college at her undergraduate, URI. There she helped run the URI ballroom dance club where she reinstated summer technique classes. Upon graduation, Kendra continued her education at RIC where she obtained her certificate in education. She taught high school students for 5 years due to a passion for learning and challenging students to see they matter. This background helps Kendra plan and push her private students to grow.
Prior to dancing, she taught figure skating for 5 years where she performed in numerous showcases and choreographed multiple routines. Her love of routines translates onto the dance floor where she most recently co-choreographed routines for the studio's student/pro show.
Kendra has been at Endicott Dance Studios for two years now as a manager, student, and teacher. Most recently competed at the Delaware Valley Invitationals where she placed first in all her events alongside the rest of the studio instructors. She hopes to see you out on the dance floor soon!
