Mori Granot-Sanchez

Mori Granot-Sanchez is an Integrative Dance Practitioner, certified trauma coach, and trained salsa instructor, performer, and choreographer. As the founder of Rhode Island Latin Dance, she brings a trauma-informed approach into all of her classes, creating spaces that are not only technically grounded but also supportive, empowering, and deeply human. Mori is known for her dynamic and engaging teaching style, blending high-energy movement with somatic awareness and emotional connection. Her classes and workshops are designed to be fun, accessible, and inclusive- encouraging self-expression while gently challenging traditional norms, including gender roles within partner dancing. She brings her work into both community and hospital settings, including Bradley Hospital and Hasbro Children's Hospital, and facilitates movement-based experiences such as Free to Move, where participants can reconnect with their bodies and build confidence in a safe, judgement free environment. As a performer, Mori has appeared on stages nationally and internationally and continues to build community through dance experiences that foster connection, authenticity, and belonging.
