Dance It Out!

May 23rd, 2026 12PM-2PM

Dance It Out: A Mother's Day Celebration

Dance It Out: A Mother’s Day Celebration invites moms and their child to move, laugh, and connect through a fun, high-energy experience. With easy follow-the-leader dances, playful props, and a freestyle dance party- no pressure, just pure joy. Perfect for families looking to move, connect, and have fun together.

Hosted in our ballroom dance studio, the space will be transformed into a bright, welcoming environment designed with kids in mind.  Little ones can sip pink lemonade, enjoy sweet treats, and explore playful dance elements, while sharing special moments with their grown-up. Each pair will head home with fun keepsakes to remember the day—because the best part of Mother’s Day is making memories together.

Perfect for families looking to move, connect, and celebrate in a way that feels lighthearted, creative, and full of joy.

Mori Granot-Sanchez

Mori Granot-Sanchez is an Integrative Dance Practicioner, certified trauma coach, and trained salsa instructor, performer, and choreographer. As the founder of Rhode Island Latin Dance, she brings a trauma-informed approach into all of her classes, creating spaces that are not only technically grounded but also supportive, empowering, and deeply human. Mori is known for her dynamic and engaging teaching style, blending high-energy movement with somatic awareness and emotional connection. Her classes and workshops are designed to be fun, accessible, and inclusive- encouraging self expression while gently challenging traditional norms, including gender roles within partner dancing. She brings her work into both community and hospital settings, including Bradley Hospital and Hasbro Chrildren's Hospital, and facilitates movement-based experiences such as Free to Move, where participants can reconnect with their bodies and build confidence in a safe, judgement free environment. As a performer, Mori has appeared on stages nationally and internationally, and continues to build community through dance experiences that foster connection, authenticity, and belonging.
